according to the website isfdb.org the books were to published on feburary 13, 2009. is this incorrect? i pre-ordered last summer and would like a idea
when to look forward to these books. |

The Haffner Press website is/was up-to-date. Despite the fact that it was updated today (7/4/09), the answers to your question were/are there. That's where you should look for current status on HP titles. The fact that you inquired through this forum means that you can read access the HP home page.
I have *no* control over what appears at external sources like Amazon.com, isfdb.org, etc. Publication dates on sites other than www.haffnerpress.com are culled from such unreliable sources from distributors' catalogs to well-meaning folk who want their HP fix as soon as possble.
And . . . we both know that an inquiry to info@haffnerpress.com will get you a reply A LOT faster than any other method/forum you choose to us.

| tsk tsk to you mr. haffner. you have sat on my pre-order money for almost a year now. i for one have combed this site weekly for any word or a positive publication date. if there has been one it must have been in code. and even with this july 4th update i still do not see a shipping date. sir. if i ever receive these books they will be the last i pre-order! |

Jerry, while this forum is hardly a hub of activity, nearly half the posts are yours -- in topics that you create for the express purpose of asking for release dates. When you have written to info@haffnerpress.com for updates, you always received a prompt and courteous answer.
Ideally, this forum would be a community to discuss the merits of the authors published by Haffner Press -- not for you to display your inability to use the shift-key in your meritless posts.
As for a shipping date, I can't give you one as I am refunding your order in full, removing your ability to post to this forum, and thanking you for your past patronage.
